Check all batteries have enough charge in both Keyboard & Mouse. Press the ID button, which is on the receiver and then immediately press and hold the ID button on the Keyboard/Mouse for at least 6 seconds.

The Receiver needs to identify your Keyboard & Mouse. In order to do so, there are ID buttons on all the devices. Press the ID button, which is on the receiver and then immediately press and hold the ID button on the Keyboard/Mouse for at least 6 seconds.

Why am I receiving an error message “Program was unable to find your scanner. Please disconnect both the . . . . . . . . . “ even the scanner is connected to my PC?
Try restarting the PC. If the problem persists, uninstall the scanner software, disconnect the scanner & restart the PC. Connect the scanner to the USB. When the new hardware found wizard appears, insert the driver CD into the CDROM drive and click next to continue installation. Once the driver installation is over, run the setup from the driver CD and continue installation until finish.

The safety feature button prevents scanner to scan and thus the noise occurs. Check the auto lock/manual lock button is in un-lock position.
